Eoin O Meachair

Eoin is the newest member of An Emigrant's Tale. An accomplished Banjo and Tin Whistle player, his style of playing is gentle and creative. This highly polished Irish musician has over the years played with some of the best in the business worldwide. His talents have taken him from China to Ethiopia and from Trinidad to Switzerland wowing audiences all the way.

Eoin was infused with Irish music from just about the time he could walk, and over the years has developed a style that has come to be regarded as unique and inventive. Whether he is accompanying his contemporaries in a vast catalogue of Irish tunes, playing the works of "The Beatles" or plucking the air with haunting melodies, audiences are left spell-bound by his nimble and intricate finger work.

After listening to Eoin, banjo will probably become your favourite instrument too.

Colm O'Caoimh

Michael Quirke ………….Singer 

Michael comes from Fiddown in Co Kilkenny and although not hugely know on the national singing circuit he has a great future ahead of him…….a big man with a huge tuneful voice, he is captivating audiences everywhere he performs. 

Katie Quirke………………..Singer 

Katie is a daughter of Michael’s and is following in his footsteps…….a beautiful sweet voice, she made her debut at 15 yrs of age and is a true professional for one so young. 

Mick Walsh…………………Bodhran/singer 

Mick comes from Kilmacow in Co Kilkenny and is well used to the big stage having toured with Irish groups as far as New Zealand and Australia and the USA. Mick is a fine bodhran player and is a great storyteller. He also sings any amount of humorous songs……an integral part of the show.

Richard Murray

Richard comes from Tramore in Co Waterford and although at 12yrs of age he holds the Irish dancing title, the English title, the U.S title and now holds the World title !!!!!
